Aiming from farm to table
Simalem's beginning as a farm inspired our kitchen to use as many of our organic products as possible. We aim to bring local flavors, as well to international dishes to cover all tastes. Whether you prefer traditional Indonesian Cuisine, a nourishing Indian dhal, a soft-spice Chinese kung pao, or a delicious, savoury crêpe with an Italian twist – all cultures are met for a complete culinary experience.

Located in the breathtaking landscapes of Pangambatan Valley, Simalem Sanctuary is the future of wellness. Our cozy Pangambatan Cafe offers you an exclusive taste of local and international cuisines, featuring serene nature views, comfortable seating and a commitment to holistic living.

You have the opportunity to choose vegan options from our plant-based menu. We replace dairy with coconut cream and oat milk. We also support your protein needs with a variety of legumes – we've got you covered!
Monosodium glutamate (MSG), is a common food additive used as a flavor enhancer in many parts of the world. It has been proven to be associated to different symptoms and reactions, with neurotoxic effects. We are completely MSG-free.
We ensure there is harmony between the macronutrients in the menu (carbs, protein and fat), so your requirements are met. We've included some naughty options too so your retreat can offer you the level of comfort you're craving for.
