House rules

​​Respectful Quiet  

Maintain a peaceful atmosphere, especially between 10 PM and 7 AM. Keep noise levels to a minimum throughout the sanctuary.  We appreciate your consideration for other guests.

Safety First

Weapons or any items that may cause harm are strictly prohibited.  Your safety and the safety of others are our top priorities.  Please report any suspicious activity to reception.

No Smoking & Cooking 

Smoking and cooking (except for the accommodation that comes with a kitchenette facility) are not permitted within the accommodation zones. Designated areas are available for smoking. This helps us maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone.

Occupancy Limits 

The number of guests in each room should not exceed the maximum occupancy. This ensures comfort and complies with safety regulations.

Nature Preservation  

Protect our natural surroundings. Avoid disturbing plants and animals, and dispose of waste responsibly. Let's keep our environment beautiful for generations to come.

Personal Belongings

Keep track of your personal belongings. Simalem Sanctuary is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

No Pet Policy 

To maintain a serene environment for all guests, we have a strict no pet policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Laundry Considerations

To ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all guests, please refrain from hanging laundry outside your bedroom or on the balcony. If you require a drying rack or additional hangers, please contact reception, and we will be happy to assist you.

Check-Out Procedures 

Please check-out by 12 noon. Guests with outstanding room bills are kindly requested to settle their accounts with reception during check-out. Please factor in the time required for this process if you have other commitments or travel arrangements. Late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability on the check-out day.
